"Malti Devi Gives Punishment to Anupamaa to Stand On One Foot " Anupamaa Today's Full Episode 16th May 2023.
The episode begins in the Shah house. Pakhi, Paritosh, and Kinjal wonder why Anuj is coming to the wedding and knows about the wedding date.
Dimpy tells them that she has informed Anuj about the wedding date but didn’t ask him to come. She also tells them that Anuj will do half of the expenses on behalf of her side. Leela doesn’t trust her. While everyone accuses Dimpy of informing Anuj, Anupama stays numb and gets emotional. She decides to stick to her decision of going to America and not change it due to someone’s sake.
Anupamaa 16th May 2023 Today's Episode Written Update
A month late, Samar gets irritated with Dimpy and his name together and asks his siblings to change the name. They tease him for the name they have put on the poster. Anupama reaches the gurukul with Vairabi and gets punished by Malti Devi for being late. Malti Devi asks Nakul to cancel the contract with them. Soon, Anupama wakes up from her dream and is glad that she has woken up on time. She calls Vairabi to wake up. They both freshen up and have their breakfast.
Anupama asks Kanta to pack her tiffin. Meanwhile, Samar calls her and complains to her about the couple's name they have created. Anupama calls the name to be cute. He asks her to attend the puja in the evening. Anupama assures her that she will come. She gets upset. Kanta asks her what the matter is. Anupama tells her that Anuj is going to come to the puja too.
She then hurries up and heads towards Gurukul with Vairabi. Leela makes Samar wear a crown and calls her the Krishna of the house. The Shahs adore him for being the Kanha ji of their house no matter how old he grows. Leela still complains to Samar for not marrying the girl of her choice but blesses him for his upcoming life.
Samar gets emotional. Paritosh calls him a girl for crying every time. Leela asks everyone to be ready for the puja in the evening as guests will arrive too. Everyone wonders why Anuj would come as he should have done that earlier. They all wish that Anuj doesn’t come
Leela tells Vanraj that Anuj will come with Maaya which will ruin everything even Anupama’s happiness. He asks her to leave it and focus on the puja. He knows that Anupama gets deeply affected whenever there’s a conversation about Anuj and tries to keep herself busy with dance. Kinjal checks all the stuff of puja and asks Paritosh about the coconuts. Paritosh is lost when she asks him what the matter is. He tells her that if Anuj comes, Anupama will be broken and the wedding will get affected too. Kinjal asks him to calm down as Anuj and Anupama can handle things with maturity.
He asks her about the question he asked her a few days back which she didn’t answer. Kinjal makes it clear that it’s a no from her side. Anupama and Vairabi reach late in the gurukul and get nervous. Vairabi worries and asks Anupama what they are going to do. Anupama asks her to wait and gets inside. Malti Devi comes near her and asks her to get out for three minutes. She asks Anupama to stand in a corner with her leg till she asks her to stop.
Anupama does what she’s asked to do. She tells Vairabi that they will arrive thirty minutes before the time the next day. Ankush checks the wedding preparation on behalf of Dimpy. Dimpy tells him that it would have been better if Anuj would have stayed at the house instead of the hotel. Ankush tells her that he has requested him many times to stay at the house. He decides to bring him back home. Ankush asks him why he’s forcing Anuj if he doesn’t want to come.
Ankush tells him that he is Anuj’s elder brother and can bring him to the house. He asks Barkha and Ankush to be careful of the losses they have done to the company and hopes Anuj to save the Kapadia empire. He asks them to prepare for the puja in the Shah house. Malti Devi tells Anupama that she has asked her to leave her baggage outside the gurukul.
Anupama apologizes to her and tells her about her son’s wedding. Malti Devi feels marriage is a waste of time. Anupama tells her that being a mother, she has to be with her son. Malti Devi asks her why she’s the one to look after her son’s wedding and warns her to cancel the contract if she repeats the same mistake.
Anupama assures her that she wouldn’t repeat the same
mistake. Malti Devi asks her to put her leg down and go home to her son.
Anupama requests her to attend her son’s wedding and bless him.

Anuj and Anupama meet in the street. Anupama meets Anu too who seems changed to her. Maaya greets Anupama. Anupama is shocked when Anu calls Maaya to be her mom.
