"Anupamaa Gets Angry On Anuj But Takes Lift On his Bike Romance and Anger " Anupamaa Today's Full Episode 22nd May 2023.
The episode begins in the Kapadia mansion. Anuj wakes up from sleep hallucinating Anupama doing her morning puja rituals.
Maaya knocks on the door of his room and tells him that he must have slept well in his own house. Anuj ignores her and goes to check on Anu. Maaya decides to make space in Anuj’s room very soon as she did in his life. Samar and Dimpy do a video call. Dimpy teases him for not calling her in the morning. They discuss their sangeet ceremony.
Dimpy tells him that she felt nice when Anuj and Maaya did the puja on behalf of her parents. He tells her that Maaya and Anu’s behavior felt odd to him. She asks him to talk to his father regarding their room as his existing room is small in size so Vanraj and they exchange their room. Samar asks her to hold on as Vanraj deserves his privacy. He promises her to fulfill all her dreams but wants time for that. Dimpy suggests him build a new room and decides to talk to Anuj to arrange for their honeymoon.
Samar denies taking any favors from Anuj. When Dimpy tries to convince him, he makes it clear that he wouldn’t change for anyone and asks her to think well before the wedding if she wants to marry him. In the gurukul, Anupama and Nakul practice their dance steps.
Malti Devi watches them and gets pleased. After the dance is completed, Anupama notices her. Malti Devi praises her for improving so much in the last month and leaving behind Nakul. Anupama takes her blessings.
Malti Devi asks her to come in the evening for a costume trial. Anupama hesitates as it's her son’s sangeet night but agrees to come. She requests Malti Devi to attend her son’s wedding if she can. She tells her that she is inviting her because she’s her guru maa and wants her to bless Samar. Malti Devi stays numb for a while and leaves the rehearsal hall. Nakul too leaves.
Vairabi walks towards Anupama and asks her what wrong is with Malti Devi and Nakul. Anupama asks her to go back home and take a rest after having her meal as she has to go shopping. Though Vairabi insists to accompany her to shop around, Anupama asks her to energize herself for the sangeet night. She prays so that Malti Devi attends her son’s wedding. Meanwhile, Anuj comes to the market to buy the list of kinds of stuff prepared by Leela.
Anupama too reaches the same market to shop as Samar has given her a list. Anuj feels restless as he senses Anupama’s presence. Both of them meet each other while shopping and get dumbstruck for a while. They find a boy playoff with an airplane. Anuj tells her that it’s a reminder for her to prepare herself for flying to America. Anupama tells him that she will make it possible this time anyhow. They both tell each other that they are shopping for Samar and Dimpy.
A bunch of balloons comes in between them as it flies in the sky, both Anuj and Anupama smile seeing it but soon come back to reality. Anuj pays the balloon seller as his balloons flew away. Vanraj waits outside the door when Leela asks him what the matter is. He tells her that though Vairabi has reached home Anupama hasn’t arrived yet. Leela too wonders where Anupama is. Maaya gets worried as Anuj’s phone isn’t reachable. She wonders if Anuj has gone to the Shah house to meet Anupama.
Anupama asks Anuj to complete whatever he was trying to say yesterday. Vanraj keeps calling Anupama but fails to get her. Anupama requests Anuj to speak up. As Anuj goes to speak, he gets reminded of Maaya asking him not to say anything. He tells Anupama that he’s going to drop her at the Shah house as he’s going there too.
Anupama asks him not to worry about her as he has already
dropped her from his life. Though Anuj requests her, she walks away from there.
He follows her with his bike. Anupama ignores him but he keeps following her.
He snatches her shopping bags from her hand. Anupama sits behind him on his
bike.

Anuj stops his bike and wants to talk to Anupama. She asks him to speak his heart out. Anuj narrates to her what happened after he was in his car to the airport to board the flight to meet her.
