The episode begins at Anupama’s new dance academy. Anupama teaches dance steps to the girl who has just been admitted. A little girl learns to dance steps from Anupama hiding beside a pillar.

 

 A few other girls also arrive and join her dance classes. Bhavesh makes the entry of the girls. Kanta serves drinks to the students. The girl who was hiding outside gets caught by Anupama. She gets petrified and apologizes to Anupama. 

Anupamaa 19th April 2023 Today's Episode Written Update

Anupama asks her if she wants to learn dance and be her student. The girl gets excited but soon gets afraid of her father who gives her a vegetable stall near Anupama’s house. She runs to her father’s stall. Her father asks her to focus on study and help him with his work. Anupama notices them from a distance.

 

 When the girl does a dance step, her father asks her not to dance as it’s for the elite class. Anupama walks towards him and tells him that dance is for everyone. She tells him that money cannot guarantee happiness and sorrow doesn’t differentiate between the elite and the poor. Bhavesh and Kanta notice her from a distance. The vegetable seller tells her that he has no objection to dancing but cannot afford it as he struggles to earn a living.

 

He apologizes to her for not being able to admit his daughter to the dancing school. Anupama tells him that she cannot run her classes for free but can understand people’s compulsions. She asks him to send his daughter to her dance school as she wouldn’t charge anything in return. She feels that everyone should at least help one needy person to bring change to the world. She tells the girl that she will teach her dance as well as help her in her studies.

 

The vegetable seller wishes good for Anupama’s generous move. Adhik, Barkha, and Ankush get ready for their office. Barkha loses her mind as she finds a breakfast platter just like Anupama used to make, Adhik and Ankush feel nostalgic as their house feels like the way Anupama used to make it feel. Barkha screams at the staff and asks him why he has made such breakfast. The staff points out that he has made breakfast according to Pakhi’s instructions.

 

Barkha is shocked but Adhik and Ankush are glad to see Pakhi who’s all dressed up in a saree like an Indian daughter-in-law. After the classes get over, Anupama feels blessed and hugs her mother. Bhavesh asks them to join him for a meal. Anupama recalls Anuj after Bhavesh tells her about a dish he has cooked. Meanwhile, Leela arrives there and greets them. Barkha asks Pakhi what she’s doing there.

 Pakhi tells her that she has come to her mother’s house. She asks Ankush and Adhik to have breakfast as she has instructed the chef to make traditional Gujarati dishes. Barkha tells her that they don’t have these meals and those who ate such meals aren’t in the house.

 

 Pakhi tells her that they will come too someday. She asks Ankush and Adhik to sit and enjoy their breakfast. Adhik is happy to see Pakhi. Barkha gets irritated at her and asks her why she came late when she finally had to come. Pakhi tells her that she wouldn’t let her take Anupama’s place. Anupama serves drink to Leela. Kanta asks Leela why she’s at their house. Leela praises Anupama for her new dance academy. She gives shagun to Anupama for a fresh start.

 

 Kanta asks her again why she’s there. Leela blames Samar and Dimpy for throwing her out of her dance academy. She tells Anupama that she was the best daughter-in-law in their house. Kanta tells her that she was the worst mother-in-law Anupama had. Pakhi puts the names of Anuj and Anupama on the chairs they used to sit on and tells Barkha that she will stay at the Kapadia mansion till the King and Queen come back. She then asks Ankush and Adhik if she can join the office being Anupama’s daughter and Adhik’s house.

 

Meanwhile, Ankush gets a call from the office where there’s an urgent demand for Anuj to come. Barkha starts worrying about Anuj’s arrival and his patch-up with Anupama. Leela gives a box of sweets and gifts to Bhavesh. When Kanta denies accepting the gifts, Bhavesh asks her to let them be. 

Leela reminds them how she had come to select Anupama for Vanraj’s wife. Anupama reminds her how she taunted her and Vanraj cheated her. She asks Leela not to remind her of Vanraj and her disastrous marriage but talk about Anuj and her. Anu plays with Anuj to cheer him up and asks him when he’s going back to Anupama.
