The episode begins in the Shah house. Anupama and Anuj share their view on the importance of Shivratri and love.

 

 Vanraj tells that if each couple has bonding like Shiv and Parvati then they can live their lives peacefully. Hasmukh asks the husbands to offer the bangles to their respective partners. Maaya feels left out. She tears a thread from Anuj’s sherwani and ties it around her wrist. Kavya notices her. Anupama looks at her and wonders if everything’s fine with Kavya and assumes that she’s overthinking.

Samar picks up the bangles when Leela stops him but he doesn’t listen to her and makes Dimpy wear the bangles. When Leela scolds him, Hasmukh asks everyone to concentrate on the puja. Vanraj does the rest of the rituals. Kinjal keeps an eye on Paritosh again and again so that he’s comfortable. The couples make a circle to pour water on Shiv ji.

 

 Maaya stands behind Anuj and touches him secretly to be a part of the rituals. Kavya understands what Maaya’s trying to do and recalls how she did the same thing when she was in a relationship with Vanraj which Anupama wasn’t aware of. Everyone takes their seat again and watches Vanraj do the rest of the rituals of the puja. Vanraj decorates Shiv ji in a different form where he is male and female in a single avatar.

 

Anupama tells everyone that Shiv ji wants to convey from his look that husband and wife are two parts of a single soul and they are no longer different but together. Vanraj and Kavya start the other rituals. When Maaya looks at Anuj constantly, Kavya gets reminded that she too did the same thing earlier and hurt Anupama. Samar asks Dimpy to join him.

 

 Dimpy agrees which makes Leela irritated. When Maaya does the aarti, Anuj gets reminded of how Maaya hugged him the night of the picnic. Anupama asks him if he’s fine. Anuj tells her that he wants to acknowledge something in front of Mahadev that he loves her very much. Anupama blushes and tells him that she too loves him so much. Kinjal finds Anu to be sleepy and asks her to wish everyone good night as it’s time for Arya and her to fall asleep.

 

Anu wishes everyone and goes upstairs to sleep. At night, everyone celebrates Shivratri with dance. Anupama asks Anuj to join Vanraj. Anuj and Vanraj dance together. Anupama joins next and the ladies follow her. When the husbands join their wives, Maaya feels left out. The wives throw flower petals on their respective husbands.

 

Maaya picks up some flower petals and tries to throw them at Anuj from a distance but fails. She pretends to join the ladies in their dance and falls in front of Anuj to touch his feet and complete her puja. Kavya notices Maaya’s weird behavior and screams at her unable to control herself. She asks Maaya to stop her nonsense. Everyone is shocked by Kavya’s sudden reaction.

 

Anupama asks Kavya why she screamed so much. Kavya walks towards Maaya and asks her if she didn’t think that her weird behavior will be noticed by anyone. She tells Maaya that she has seen everything she did. She tells her that she has warned her previously and decides not to stay quiet as she’s trying to ruin someone’s family. Anupama is confused and asks Kavya to say clearly.

 

 Leela asks Kavya what the matter is. Kavya breaks down into tears in front of Anupama and hugs her. 

Anupama asks her why she’s crying. She asks Kavya what Maaya has done. Kavya tells her that Maaya is doing what she has done before.

 

Precap For Anupamaa Upcoming 4th March 2023 :

 Anupama throws Maaya out of the house. Anuj asks Maaya to leave. Maaya tells them that she will leave along with her daughter and nobody can stop her from doing so.
