"Anuj Confesses How Relations Change After Marriage, Anupamaa gets Hurt and Cries " Anupamaa Upcoming 9th January 2023.
The episode begins in the Shah house. Hasmukh asks Leela why she’s busy on her phone. Leela tells him that she was trying to call Anupama to apologize to her.
She feels that Anuj was right about what he said. Hasmukh is glad that Leela has realized her mistake. When Vanraj hears it, he requests Leela not to start things with Anupama again. Leela decides to call Anupama after dinner and asks Vanraj to call Paritosh. Samar comes home to take the keys to his bike to drop Dimple home. Leela doesn’t like it and taunts Dimple for being with Samar all the time.
Anupamaa 9th January 2023 Today's Episode Written Update
Dimple clarifies to her that she’s just Samar’s colleague. Leela tells her that Kavya and Vanraj used to say the same things. Vanraj asks Samar to drop Dimple home as she’s getting late. Anupama serves food to Dheeraj and Anuj. When she hurries up, Dheeraj asks her to calm down for a while. He asks Anupama to share her version of their love story. He asks her when she realized her love for him.
Meanwhile, Anupama gets a call from the Shah house which upsets Anuj. But she decides to call them back. Leela gets irritated as Anupama didn’t receive her call. Hasmukh asks her to be polite if she wants to apologize to Anupama. Vanraj texts Kavya about her whereabouts. Leela tells Hasmukh that she wants to tell Anupama to control Dimple.
Vanraj asks her to calm down and overthink it. Leela fears that Samar and Dimple get married in the temple like Pakhi, Adhik, and Paritosh, Kinjal did. Vanraj tells her that he’s not going to interfere in his children’s matters anymore and accepts Dimple if Samar marries her. Samar and Dimple stop at an ice cream stall and enjoy their new year. Seeing Dimple, he asks her if she’s upset.
She tells him that she shouldn’t have been rude to Leela but accepts that she cannot tolerate it if someone scolds her for no reason. Samar apologizes to her on behalf of Leela and tells her that no matter what others say, he likes her. Dimple gets numb. Samar asks her not to worry as he’s not expecting anything from her.
Anuj thanks Dheeraj for coming over and making him laugh. When Anupama asks Dheeraj to talk about himself and his love story, he tells them that his story can be heard anytime later. He tells Anuj that he’s remembering their childhood days. Anupama laughs seeing their bonding. She tells Dheeraj that she has never seen Anuj so happy. Dheeraj asks Anuj if he had any best friends after he left. Anuj tells him that Anupama was his best friend before their marriage but after their marriage, their relationship changed over time.
Dheeraj asks him what made her fall in love with him. Anupama tells him that she wonders what Anuj saw in her. She narrates how she never got love and respect in her first marriage. She tells how heartbroken she was but Anuj’s arrival in her life and his love made her a better person.
She praises Anuj for making her meet herself and giving importance to herself. She tells that she was a follower in her first marriage but became a companion of Anuj. She thanks Anuj for making her his partner, encouraging her to dream high, and teaching her to live her life. She tells that though she left her previous family, her attention was stuck there.
She feels guilty for taking Anuj for granted who gave her an open sky. She realizes that she should have given importance to that relationship and given her an identity and a reason to live life again. As she breaks down, Anuj tries to calm her down.
She tells Dheeraj that Anuj understands her silence so well but she failed to understand his words. She blames herself for letting people take Anuj’s advantage. She tells Anuj that she has hurt him again and again and made mistakes repeatedly.
She goes away from the table unable to hold her tears back. She runs to her room and lies on the bed.

Anupama cries while holding Anuj’s photo and requests him not to deprive her of his love. Dheeraj suggests Anuj not let his ego win over his love.
