The episode begins in the Kapadia mansion. After Anu leaves, Leela comes downstairs with her bag in her hand. Anupama asks her what the matter is.

 

 Leela tells her that she doesn’t want to live in the Kapadia mansion anymore. Anupama and Adhik try to calm her down. Anuj tells Leela that she’s misunderstanding the situation but can leave the house of she wants. When Hasmukh asks her not to create a scene, she blames him for always supporting Anuj and Anupama.

Anupamaa 31st December Today's Episode Written Update

 

Dimple asks Leela not to leave the house. She snatches the bag from Leela’s hand and takes it into the room. Later, Anupama recalls how Anuj behaved with her since yesterday. She breaks down into tears as she cannot see her families break apart. Meanwhile, she gets a call from Kavya. She receives the call when Kavya shares the good news about Vanraj and her new job. Anupama congratulates her. Kavya tells her that Vanraj and her relationship needed a break as they couldn’t take time for themselves.

 

 She tells her how much she loves the Shahs but never realized that she wouldn’t get the chance to talk to Vanraj after their marriage for being busy with family issues. She feels that the husband and wife should find time for each other too as that’s the foundation of other relationships in the family. Anupama understands what she means and recalls the incidents of the past few days and how Anuj and her relationship have come far apart.

 

 

Kavya asks her if everything is fine there. Anupama tells her that Leela and Hasmukh are doing well. After disconnecting the call, she thinks about Anuj and her relationship and cries as the distance is created between them. She recalls the good memories with Anuj. When Anuj decides to leave for the office, he looks for Anupama but doesn’t find her in the living room.

 

As he’s about to leave, Anupama gives him his file. She tells him that she has prepared his favorite meals. Anuj tells her that he will have lunch and dinner outside with his international clients and refuse to take the lunch box. As he was leaving, Anupama holds his coat and asks him to come back before midnight so that they can end the year together and start a new one.

 

Anuj tells her that the whole family must be there to celebrate the last day of the year and start a new but Anu’s not there as he had to send her away. Ankush asks him why he’s leaving for the office on New Year’s eve. Barkha asks Anuj to stay back as he should spend time with his family.

 Vanraj asks Kavya if she has talked to Anupama. Kavya asks him not to worry as Leela and Hasmukh are well there.

 

 

Vanraj feels Anupama to be lying. Kavya gets irritated at him for still thinking about his family even on a vacation. He hugs her from the back. She asks him to be with her completely otherwise leaves for Ahmedabad. He decides to listen to Kavya and celebrate New Year with her. She decides to plan a party. Vanraj knows that there must be something wrong at the Kapadia mansion.

 

 Kinjal arrives at the Kapadia mansion and takes Arya in her lap. She thanked Anupama for taking care of Arya and apologize to Anuj for whatever happened. Dimple asks everyone to start planning for an amazing new year party but everyone has their plan for the day. Anuj realizes that Anupama will be all alone in the house. Kavya arranges for passes for the new year party and shows them to Vanraj. They both share a romantic moment.

 

Anuj recalls why and how he had to send Anu to the farmhouse. Kinjal asks him to call Anu as she should celebrate the new year with her parents. Anuj tells her that he had talked to Anu and she is happy with her friends. 

Anupama asks him why he didn’t tell her that he had talked to Anu. Anuj tells her that Anu is her daughter too and she should sometimes call her. While he was leaving, Hasmukh asks him to drop him at a temple.

 

Precap For Anupamaa Upcoming 1st January 2023 :

 Hasmukh doesn’t come back to the Kapadia mansion. Everyone goes looking for him. Leela calls Vanraj and tells him about Anuj’s behavior towards them. Vanraj decides to come to Ahmedabad.
