The episode begins in the dance academy. Anupama worships the Almighty. She gets a parcel of gajra.

 

 

She wears the gajra in the hair and sends a selfie to Anuj. Anuj smiles while Anupama cherishes the small things in life. He receives a flask of tea sent by Anupama. Kavya keeps lying in the bed. Leela enters the room and asks her to wake up and do the household chores. She compares her with Anupama as the latter did all the work before going to the dance academy.

 

Anupamaa 8th April Today's Episode Written Update

 

Kavya asks her to leave her alone. Anupama finds Vanraj in the cafe. Vanraj looks distressed. Anupama prays so that Vanraj realizes his mistakes and becomes a better person. Kavya and Rakhi meet in a park. Rakhi tells Kavya that Vanraj has his father’s house and his ego. She feels that Vanraj’s ego has ruined his career. Kavya agrees with her.

 

 Rakhi asks her how long she’s going to rely on her husband. She tells her that she will take care of Kinjal, Paritosh, and her would-be grandchild. She’s ready to help Vanraj too but knows that he won’t accept her offer. She asks Kavya about her plan for her life ahead. She feels pity for her as she used to be a strong and independent woman but has become a simple housewife after marrying Vanraj. Kavya feels Rakhi is right and feels helpless.

 

 

Rakhi tells her that she’s ready to help her if she wants. Anuj comes back home thinking that everyone will be there. He finds Anupama in the kitchen. Anuj asks her if others have left. Anupama tells him that others are yet to arrive and asks him to sit in the living room. Anuj decides to help her but the latter asks him to go and wait in the living room.

 

Rakhi asks Kavya to think about herself as Leela and Vanraj won’t do think about her. She tells her that the Shah family won’t miss her if she leaves the house. She asks her to think about her job and then divorce Vanraj to come out of the crazy family. She asks her to decide what she wants to do and wants to be.

 

Anupama brings a cup of tea for Anuj. Anuj pretends to be angry. Anupama offers the tea. Anuj drinks it with pleasure and offers it to her too. They both sip the tea from the same cup turn by turn. Vanraj looks at his termination papers and tears them off in anger. Anuj gets a call but keeps his phone on silent. Anupama does the same. They both decide to spend some quality time with each other.

 

 

 

Anuj asks her about her day. Anupama tells him that today was burger day and seeing the bad quality of the potatoes she could tell that those were brought by Samar. She tells him that Samar didn’t learn to buy good quality potatoes though he used to go to the market with her in his childhood. She tells about the working condition of the mixer in the Shah house. As she was going to tell about her auto experience but found Anuj looking at her constantly.

 

She asks him what he’s looking at. Anuj tells her that they are lucky enough as their relationship is so pure and have so much to talk about. Anupama feels him be right. She tells him that there should be a day in a week when everyone in the family keeps their phones inside the almirah. Anuj asks about the situation in Shah's house. When Anupama stays numb, Anuj realizes that the Shahs are behaving as usual. They both agree that whatever Malvika did was right.

 

Anupama tells him that the Shahs get pissed off due to Vanraj’s mistakes. She wants to help the Shahs so that they aren’t under stress but knows that her efforts will be worthless as they won’t appreciate it. She tells him that she can guide her children but cannot live their life on their behalf. She feels like not thinking about the Shah family cannot stop herself from caring about them. She gets emotional and apologizes to Anuj.

 

Anuj tells her that he gets hurt as she cannot all his but he’s always hers. He understands that Anupama has so much to hold on to the Shah house. He tells her that he has memories of happiness and pain in that house. He assures her that he won’t force her to break all the ties with the Shah family. Anupama asks him if she can order the marble as she has to build a temple for him. Anuj smiles.

 Leela calls Hasmukh to talk to him about Vanraj’s condition. Anupama hears Hasmukh’s conversation overcall. While Leela consoles Vanraj, Malvika asks Anupama why she asked Anuj to let Vanraj join back in her company. Anupama is clueless.
