" Sirat Keeps Fast and Dressed Up for Kartik " Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 13th August Written Update.

 The episode starts with Kartik. He says to Sirat that he can tolerate that he can the taunts but he can't handle her angry face.

 

 

 

Sirat gets mad at Kartik and holds his collar. Kartik says to her that they should focus on their priorities and the rest they can see later. Kartik goes downstairs, where everyone is sitting. Kairav seems so excited about the Teej celebration. Kartik recalls his last Teej with Naira. Kairav questions Suhasini that whether Sirat starved for his Papa or not.

Everyone's smile vanishes listening to this. Manish gets angry at Kairav but soon apologizes to him for misbehaving with him. Kairav further says that he'll call Sirat still by her name as if he'll call her Mumma then she may not like it. Kairav and Vansh leave to attend school. Manish and Kartik again start arguing with each other. No one is ready to understand other's vision. Suhasini ends their argument and says that they can fight only after her death.

 

 Suhasini says that being the eldest among the family only she'll decide what to do. Later Sirat is talking to herself. She is thinking that why Ranveer and Mauri have all her responsibilities to Kartik. She is worried about Kartik because he is suffering a lot only because of her. Kairav arrives there with a big box in his hands. He says to Sirat there is a surprise for her inside it.

 

 

 

Sirat opens the box and gets hurted to see a beautiful saree in it. Kairav says that everyone will wear new clothes today so if she'll also wear this then it'll make them happy. Sirat is understanding what to do what to say to Kairav. With a lot of effort, she refuses Kairav to wear the dress. She is about to say that isn't performing any ritual. But before this, Suhasini arrives there and asks Sirat to get ready to perform the rituals of the Teej festival.

 

She says that she'll not accept her refusal at any cost. Suhasini also offers her all the makeup materials so that she can get ready for the celebration. But Sirat hangs to see sindoor in it. Suhasini says to her that it's her first fasting for Kartik so she should get ready with all the necessities like a bride for today's Teej celebration.

 

Anupamaa 13th August Today's Episode Written Update

 Sirat is in a dilemma as she can't say anything to Suhasini to not perform the rituals. Kairav is excited to see Sirat get ready soon. Suhasini and Kairav leave then Sirat gets emotional and cries a lot. Kartik arrives there and feels so bad to see Sirat's situation. But seeing all the stuff there he understands everything.

 

 

 

 He says to Sirat that the family is hoping for her to contribute to their happiness but they aren't forcing her so there is no compulsion for her to listen to them. He asks Sirat to take the situation as a fight and it's her choice whether to play it or not? He further says to Sirat that sometimes they have to perform some duties which don't belong to them.

 

Sirat asks Kartik that how he can see the situation so normal as she isn't understanding anything. Sirat replies that they're playing with the trust of everyone. Kartik asks Sirat to decide by herself as Kairav will understand her decision. Sirat decides to continue their drama of a fake wedding. Later Goenkas are all ready for the Teej celebration. Gayatri says to Suhasini that if Sirat will come then Manish will get angry.

 

Suhasini replies that in anyone's mind she can't the rituals of the family. Inside Suhasini is hoping for Sirat to come to join them in the celebration. Another side, Sirat is all ready for the celebration but she is worried as she can't put sindoor on her forehead for Kartik. Goenka starts performing their rituals. Everyone gathers there. Kairav and Suhasini are waiting for Sirat to join them. Suddenly Sirat arrives there and Kairav becomes so happy to see her.

 

 

 Suhasini asks Sirat to perform the Teej ritual. Sirat is about to start it but Manish interrupts. He says that if Sirat will join them then he'll not participate in the celebration. Suwarna tries to convince Manish but he isn't ready to listen to anyone. Sirat is leaving the worship then Suhasini stops her. Suhasini announces that if anyone's ritual remains incomplete today then she'll leave this house and will never return. Everyone stuns with Suhasini's decision.

 

Suhasini asks Sirat to complete her worship. She guides Sirat step by step and asks Kartik to join her. Sirat prays the goddess to forgive her for faking the fast for today's worship. Suddenly Sirat's forehead becomes visible that she doesn't put the sindoor on her forehead. Kartik notices this and secretly asks Sirat to cover it before anyone else notices this.

 

 

Kartik receives a message from the lawyer that they have to prove his relationship with Sirat as a different thing not linked with Ranveer's death. Later Suhasini takes everyone to perform the other ritual for the swing.

 There she says that all the married women will sit on the swing one by one and will also tell poetry or something else containing their husband's name. After Suwarna and Surekha, now it's Sirat's turn. Sirat performs the custom very well.
