"Kartik Proposes Sirat, She Rejects his Proposal " Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th August Written Update.
The episode starts with Kartik. He says to Sirat that he
wants to tell her a truth which is important for him to tell her.
He brings out their friendship ring and says that the
meaning of this ring has changed for him now. Kartik kneels down infront of
Sirat, holding the ring in his hand. Sirat isn't understanding anything. Kartik
asks her to let him explain everything but not to interrupt him amidst the
conversation. Kartik confesses his love for Sirat saying that he likes her and
starts loving her.

It's a shocking
moment for Sirat. She becomes speechless. On the other hand, Manish is calling
Kartik again and again but he isn't answering the call. Suwarna says that
Kartik didn't tell them anything so there might be some big reason behind this.
Manish blames Sirat only for everything again. He says that Sirat always takes
advantage of Kartik's friendship and makes him fool every time. Kirti stands
for Sirat and says that Sirat isn't that kind of girl at all.
Kirti tells to
everyone that Kartik is in love with Sirat. Suhasini becomes happy while the
others are shocked. She says that Sirat will be a good life partner for Kartik
because Sirat is the only girl who touched Kartik's heart after Naira. Manish
shocks more after learning that Kartik told that to Kirti. Later Kartik tells Sirat
that he was firstly angry with himself for having such feelings for her because
he can't give Naira's place to anyone. But later he realized that Naira has her
place and Sirat has created a separate place in her heart.
He says further to Sirat that she has filled the emptiness
in his life and he can't imagine his life alone again without her. Kartik
requests Sirat to stay with him and his children because they're the happiest
with her only. Sirat gets emotional but remains silent all the time. Kartik
promises Sirat that he'll all kinds of happiness to her because she struggled a
lot in her life.
Another side, Kirti
is convincing Manish not to kill Kartik's love for Sirat as Naira's love was
different and Sirat's love is also different for Kartik. Suhasini agrees with
Kirti and says that she is so happy that Kartik listened to his heart's voice
and decided to live his life with someone. She says to Manish that they all
want Kartik's happiness only which is with Sirat now.
Suwarna also agrees to Suhasini. Suwarna and Suhasini try to
convince Manish to accept Sirat because she loves Kartik's children a lot and
will be a good mother for them. But Manish isn't ready to accept Sirat in
Kartik's life. Another side, Kartik is still trying to convince Sirat to accept
his proposal. Kartik asks Sirat to say something because he is speaking alone.
He asks Sirat to reply to his proposal listening to her heart's voice only.
Sirat forwards her
hand to accept Kartik's ring but suddenly she recalls Manish's anger for her.
She lies to Kartik that she doesn't love him. It breaks Kartik's heart and he
becomes speechless. Sirat goes from there. The ring drops down from Kartik's
hand. He feels so bad.
Sirat goes into the dressing room and cries a lot for
hurting Kartik again. She says that she can't give the lifetime pain to Kartik
so it'll be better if he gets busy with his family and forgets her. Kartik
arrives there and apologizes to Sirat for hurting her. He says that he can't
force anyone to love him back without any feelings so she should deny his
proposal.
Sirat feels so bad as Kartik is still caring about her.
Kartik says that this proposal will not affect their friendship at all and
they'll be always friends with each other. Other side Goenkas are waiting for
Sirat and Kartik to reach the resort. Kartik and Sirat reach there. Manish gets
angry with Sirat and Kartik. Kartik apologises for lying to them. He says that
Manish was throwing Sirat out of the house so he said that without thinking
anything.
Kartik informs everyone that Sirat is going back to the
Jaiselmer now. Everyone shocks by Kartik's statement. Suhasini is about to
interrupt Sirat's decision but Manish stops her saying that it's Sirat's life
and she can do anything for herself. Sirat says that everything is fine now but
nobody knows about the time so she can't tolerate more if they all get in
trouble because of her.
She apologizes to all for troubling them a lot in the past few
days. She also says Manish is not too worried about Kartik because along with
this house she is going out of Kartik's life also. Kartik feels so bad. Goenkas
also feel bad for Kartik. Sirat goes to meet Kairav. Kartik goes aside and sits
alone. He feels so bad as Sirat is about to leave him alone again.
Manish comes to him and tells him that Kirti has told them everything about his feelings. Kartik replies that there is nothing between them now and Sirat wants to go now. Manish says it'll be good for everyone.
Kartik replies that he isn't feeling good. He says that he isn't understanding
any way to stop Sirat to stay with them. Manish says he'll stop Sirat but
Kartik stops him and says that Sirat should realize the love to stay.

Sirat sits in the taxi. Kartik wants to stop her but can't do so. Sirat leaves then Kairav gets emotional as he was sleeping and nobody informs him about Sirat's departure. He starts coughing. Will Kairav face health issues now?
