Anupamaa 20th August 2021 Full Episode " Anupamaa's Independence Day, Paritosh Feels Guilty ".
The episode begins in the Shah house. Anupamaa makes laddoos
in the night. Samar picks up one when Anupamaa scolds him.
He decides to help Anupamaa to make the sweets for
independence day. Anupamaa tells him how they celebrated independence day in
her childhood. She tells him that every student should attend school on
independence day and republic day to learn something about their country. Samar
fails to make the laddoos and finds another way to make them.
Anupamaa laughs out seeing Samar’s way of making the sweets.
Paritosh notices Anupamaa and Samar’s bond and recalls his misbehavior towards
his mother. When Anupamaa sees him behind, he leaves the hall. Samar tells her
that Paritosh has done right by staying with Kinjal for the day. Anupamaa
wishes Paritosh to stay one more day as it’s a holiday. She hopes Paritosh to take
his place in everyone’s heart again.
Kavya asks Vanraj
what she should wear on the occasion of independence day. Vanraj gets up and
tells her if he can sleep as he’s tired. Kavya asks him to sleep leaving his
wife in confusion. Vanraj decides to prepare for independence day. Kavya hugs
him in excitement when Vanraj teases her saying that she has put on weight. She
gets upset for not getting a job as no one is valuing her. Vanraj understands
Kavya’s feeling of being jobless.
Kavya tells him that she has realized the importance of
getting up in the morning with a purpose in life. She tells Vanraj that she
doesn’t like working in the house and cannot be a housewife as it’s a difficult
task. Vanraj assures her that she will be employed very soon. In the morning,
the Shahs come out of the house getting ready in different outfits according to
various cultures of the country.
Leela whispers to her family that they will celebrate
Jignesh’s birthday after celebrating independence day and no one should remind
him about his birthday. Anupamaa cannot find a hundred rupee note which she
brought to give it to the watchman of the society. Pakhi asks her to relax as
it’s just a hundred rupee note. Anupamaa tells her that every rupee is valuable
as it’s hard-earned money. Samar finds the note and gives it to Anupamaa.
Anupamaa checks it
properly to find if it’s her note. Meanwhile, Rakhi joins the Shahs wearing a
fancy gown. Leela teases her if she has come to a fancy dress competition.
Anupamaa tells Rakhi that she’s surprised to see her there. Rakhi tells her
that she celebrates independence day from her heart. She asks Kinjal if she’s fine and thought
about shifting with Paritosh.
Kinjal tells her that
she will talk about it the next day. Anupamaa tells her children that they get a
chance every day to serve their country. She tells that individuals should
change to make their country a better place to live in. Paritosh tells her that
though her words are true their country is far from being perfect. Anupamaa
tells him that every country is having weaknesses as an individual has.
Leela tells that no child forgets to love his mother though
every mother has weaknesses too. She feels proud of her country. Vanraj tells
that the people who work for the country don’t complain. Leela asks the Shahs
to start celebrating independence day. They stand together, do the flag
hoisting and show their respect for the country. After the flag hoisting, the
Shahs celebrate the special occasion with dancing and singing.
Anupamaa distributes
sweets among everyone. Later, the family organizes Jignesh’s birthday. Samar
pulls Pakhi’s leg and Paritosh joins him too. Paritosh feels awkward. Hasmukh
sends a voice note to Jignesh wishing him his birthday. Vanraj hugs Jignesh and
wishes him. Anupamaa shares how Jignesh thought her to be a thief when she was
newly married. She thanks him for giving them such lovely memories. Leela asks
Kavya how she’s feeling celebrating independence day with them.
Kavya tells her that she feels proud to be Indian. Anupamaa
asks Samar to check if the loan amount has arrived in her account. Samar asks
her to relax and enjoy the day.

Paritosh apologizes to his parents for his behavior. He hugs Anupamaa. Rakhi decides to play a new game and gives a job offer to Kavya.
