 Anupamaa 17th July 2021 Written Update " Anupamaa's Dance Academy and Vanraj's Cafe Opening, Kavya Insults Everyone ".

The episode begins in the cafe. Vanraj feels that the cafe looks perfect after the decor.

 

 

Hasmukh and Vanraj get emotional looking at the cafe. Mama ji makes them laugh. Vanraj thanks everyone in his family for supporting him. He asks Anupamaa if the cafe looks fine. Anupamaa nods her head with a smile on her face. Kavya notices Vanraj and Anupamaa’s interaction and gets irritated. She asks Vanraj for the menu card of the cafe.

Leela tells her that she has already decided on the menu card. Kavya argues with Leela that she should have decided on the menu as she visits the cafe often. Leela gets emotional as Kavya taunts her for not knowing about cafes. Anupamaa cheers up Leela and speaks in favor of her. She asks Samar to tell Kavya the name of Leela’s first dish.

 

Samar translates the Hindi menu to English which Kavya appreciates without knowing its Hindi name. Anupamaa tells that the cafe will run well as the menu is decided by Leela.  Vanraj tells Kavya that they have decided on the cafe after a lot of research work. Leela gets nervous but Hasmukh appreciates her. Nandini and Kinjal tell Kavya that they have decorated the cafe in such a way so that people of any age group can arrive there.

 

 

Kavya objects to this concept as she feels that if senior people arrive in the cafe, then the youngsters will leave. Samar disagrees with Kavya’s opinion. Kavya tells him that the cafe will shut down after two days if they use their opinions. Vanraj tells her that even if the cafe shuts down, he will keep trying. Kavya lashes out at Vanraj and asks him to take her suggestion for naming the cafe. Vanraj tells her that he has already named the cafe.

 While Kavya taunts him, Samar brings the nameplate that has Leela’s name written on it. Everyone appreciates Vanraj’s idea. Leela gets emotional seeing the nameplate. Vanraj thanks Leela for supporting him and giving him the idea so that the senior citizens feel comfortable arriving in the cafe. 

He tells Leela that she holds the position of almighty in his life. Leela cries in happiness for getting respect. Anupamaa too feels grateful for getting respect from her children.

Kavya gets irritated and thinks of becoming a mother not to feel like an outcast. Leela feels great seeing the nameplate of Vanraj’s cafe. She instructs Vanraj to run the cafe well. Rakhi gets irritated at Kinjal for putting pictures of the cafe on social media. Paritosh tells her that Kinjal doesn’t listen to him at all. He tells Rakhi that Kinjal is learning such things from Anupamaa. Rakhi advises him to convince Kinjal with love and emotions. 

She asks Paritosh to use Anupamaa as his weapon as Kinjal listens to Anupamaa the most. When Pakhi walks back home from school, her friend tells her that she’s lucky to have Anupamaa as her dance teacher. After the friend leaves, Pakhi gets angry as she feels that Anupamaa doesn’t have time for her. The nameplates get attached in the front gate and everyone applauds in joy. 

Kavya asks the family not to keep high hopes regarding the cafe as no one will arrive at Leela’s cafe to have decorated thepla. Anupamaa tells Kavya what if customers arrive. Hasmukh tries to lighten up the mood and tells that both the cafe and dance academy will succeed in the future. Anupamaa and Vanraj give a high five to each other. Later in the evening, the family sits together in the living room. 

Kavya tells the family that investment regarding Anupamaa’s dance academy and Vanraj’s cafe should be low as both businesses have a high chance to fail. She requests everyone to be mentally prepared and not to have high expectations regarding the businesses. Anupamaa feels Kavya be right as everyone should think practically. Samar finds trouble in the factory and shows it to Vanraj. Three boys arrive in the factory with the motive to ruin the dance academy and the cafe’s infrastructure. 

As one of the approaches to tear Anupamaa’s painting with a knife, Vanraj arrives there and holds his hand. Both Samar and Vanraj beat up the boys. The boys run away. Samar tells Vanraj that he has put cameras in the factory. Vanraj appreciates Samar’s efforts and asks him not to tell about the incident to anyone in the family. The next morning, Anupamaa and the Shahs arrive in front of the factory. Anupamaa and others perform the ritual before the opening of the dance academy and the cafe.
