Yeh Rishhta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode 16th October 2020
Written Update " Naira Keeps Baby's Name Akshara Kairav is Jealous from
Krishna ".
The episode starts with Kirti. She asks Kartik to go out of
the room as she wants to get Naira ready for the naamkaran ceremony.
Before leaving the
room, Kartik gives the haaye to Naira as he can't do this later in front of the
family. Naira becomes happy. Kirti pushes Kartik out of the room but he again
enters the room. Later Kirti and Naira laugh at him. There Krish tells Vansh
that he thought that before arriving in India that he'll meet him and Kairav.
He further says that there in foreign he has many friends
but here he is all alone. In reply, Vansh tells him that he also doesn't have
any friends there but thanks to Kairav as they both enjoyed a lot. Kairav
arrives there. Krish tells them that now he'll live there in India forever.
Vansh replies that it'll bring more fun as the three will enjoy a lot. Krish
replies he can't as he is elder than them. Vansh says to Vansh that the road
girl is of his age.
Krish asks them not
to make of her as Kartik said she is a member of the family. Krishna arrives there
and Kairav asks her to show the thing in her hand. Krishna tells him that she
has made it by herself and can be made more for all of them. Kairav refuses to
accept anything from an unknown.
Krishna offers a hand of friendship to Kairav but before he
can hold her hand Manish asks everyone to take their gifts. He also hugs every
child except Krishna. Krishna feels bad. There Kirti says to Naira that
everyone is forcing her to choose another's suggested names for the baby then
Naira replies that she'll not force her.
Before getting Naira ready, Kirti covers the mirror and
tells Naira that according to the ritual she can't see herself in the mirror.
Krish, Kairav and Vansh are there with Kartik and they all talk about the baby.
Kairav questions Kartik that whether was also had the habit of sleeping after
crying. Kartik feels bad as he wasn't with him at that time. Kartik notices
Krishna standing at a distance, he asks her to come near to them.
Seeing this Manish asks Suwarna that Kaira's parents of two
children then why they adopt another child, it'll only create differences for
the other child. Later Kirti brings Naira with a heil into the hall. Kartik
asks to start the ritual soon. Surekha replies that he is becoming desperate to
see Naira and everyone laughs at him. They start performing the ritual and
Kirti removes Naira's veil.
Everyone loves Naira's looks. Naira opens her eyes and
watches herself in the mirror. Kartik gets mad seeing Naira looking so
beautiful. Kirti asks Kartik to give him a big gift for this. He teases her
first then gives her a gift. She becomes a little sad to see sindoor with
saree. Naira receives a video call from Varsha mami. Suhasini asks her to talk
fast.
Naira asks Varsha
that it would be fun if she and her Nana-Nani also attend this function. Varsha
replies that they'll meet soon. She tells to Naira that her baby's face looks
like her mother Akshara. Varsha further says that her grandmother used to say
that if someone's loved ones passed away and if they missed them a lot then
they return to them in other forms. They both talk about Akshara and get
emotional.
Kartik is watching
the scene standing away from Naira. Later everyone is ready to perform the
naamkaran ceremony. Everyone seems so excited. Suhasini asks the priest to
start the process and she asks the children to come. Vansh sits beside Gayatri,
Krish sits with Manish. Manish asks Kairav to join them but Kairav goes to
Kaira. Before the priest starts, Kartik stops him as Krishna isn't there.
Krishna arrives there with a beautiful Kalash made by her.
She becomes happy when the priest uses it in worship. Kairav doesn't like it.
Manish asks to start the ritual. Everyone is asking to choose their name then
she says that she'll choose the best name for her niece. Later the priest asks
everyone to choose a nickname for the baby as he'll tell them the suitable word
after reading the horoscope.
Naira tells the baby that today they'll give her a name
which will become an identity for her. Kairav suggests the name Kitty for his
sister. Krishna says that it's a name for a cat. Naira tells everyone that
Kairav loves a cat named Kitty. Kartik says that they have to choose another
name also. Surekha says that they should start dancing now as the priest will
take some time to choose the word according to the horoscope.
They all start the celebration by having fun and dance.
Everyone again suggests their names to Kaira. Everyone is busy in finalizing
the name then the priest tells them that the name should start with the letter
'A'. Everyone is discussing the name and Naira is lost in her own emotions.
Naira announces 'Akshara' as the name for the baby.
Suhasini doesn't like it but the baby smile with her new
name.

Everyone is enjoying the baby's new name. Later it comes to a family picture then Krishna stands with Kaira and Kairav doesn't like it.
