The episode begins in the Shah house. Paritosh thanks his

Vanraj and Paritosh. After Paritosh leaves to spend time with Kinjal, Vanraj
joins in the discussion of Paritosh’s engagement with the elders. He asks
Anupamaa to join them in making the list of engagement.
While discussing Kinjal’s ring, Leela shows a ring of her choice. Anupamaa rememberers Rakhi’s request of gifting Kinjal a diamond ring. Anupamaa tells that the ring Rakhi has asked for is a diamond one whose cost is five lakh rupees.

shocked by hearing about the ring’s price. Pramod asks Rakhi not to create a
mess again in Kinjal’s engagement. Rakhi asks her husband to relax as she’s
doing nothing. Leela loses her temper and tells Anupamaa that the ring is way
more expensive.

convince Leela about the diamond ring. Leela understands that Rakhi has
brainwashed Anupamaa before leaving. Vanraj thinks that Leela is right as they
should not listen to everything that Rakhi says. Leela asks Anupamaa to inform
Rakhi that they cannot give the diamond ring to Kinjal in the engagement.
As Anupamaa turns around, she notices Paritosh behind the
curtains listening to their conversation. In the night, Paritosh is
disappointed. Anupamaa comes to his room. Paritosh tells Anupamaa that he’s
disappointed in himself for not able to gift Kinjal her favorite ring though
she’s sacrificing everything for him.
He tells Anupamaa that an engagement ring holds a special
place for a girl which she cherishes for a lifetime. He tells Anupamaa that he
will contribute to Samar and Pakhi’s wedding as he will be earring by then but
feels upset as no one is there to look after his wishes. He wants to make
Kinjal happy but feels helpless. Anupamaa worries about Paritosh’s condition
and recalls how helpless he was when he came home completely drunk.
She doesn’t understand how she will manage such an expensive
ring for Kinjal. In the morning, Anupamaa is busy in the kitchen but her mind
is lost in Kinjal’s ring. Dolly brings Minu early as she has to go to the office
early. Dolly congratulates Anupamaa for Paritosh’s engagement.

house. The Shah family sits together for breakfast. Samar teases Pakhi.
Anupamaa asks Leela if she can invite her mother and brother regarding
Paritosh’s engagement. Leela gives her permission. Vanraj asks Leela not to
pressurize Bhavesh for any gift.
Anupamaa feels glad
at Vanraj’s concern for her family. Vanraj decides to go with Anupamaa to his
in-law's house. Anupamaa becomes excited. Vanraj decides to go to the office
late. Kavya listens to Vanraj’s words and feels jealous. She greets everyone
and tells Vanraj that there’s an important meeting in the office that they both
need to attend.
Vanraj rejects Kavya’s meeting proposal and tells her that
he will not be able the meeting as he is going out with Anupamaa. Anupamaa gets
ready when Samar comes to tease her making Vanraj’s voice. Vanraj appreciates
Anupamaa for wearing blue. He pretends to be nice to Anupamaa.
