Anupamaa 12th September 2020 Episode Written Update
 "Rakhi Insults Anupamaa Kinjal-Paritosh Engagement Drama ".

The episode begins in the Shah house. Vanraj gets Kavya’s call and Rakhi notices it.

 Paritosh takes Kinjal into his room and hugs each other in happiness and excitement. They dance together when Samar and Pakhi enter the room to tease the couple. The Shahs are worried as Rakhi suggests to fix the engagement days within the coming two-three days. Rakhi tells them that this is just an engagement so it doesn’t require much preparation like a wedding day.

She tries to convince the Shahs that it will be better if Kinjal and Paritosh get engaged as soon as possible so that they can be happy together. She doesn’t let Pramod speak. She informs the Shahs that if they aren’t ready for the engagement in the upcoming days then they have to wait for the engagement till next year. Paritosh and Kinjal look disappointed.

Anupamaa 12th September 2020 Episode Written Update

Anupamaa and Vanraj agree with Rakhi’s date which is a few days later. Anupamaa suggests their colony’s community hall as the engagement venue. She also suggests one of their colony’s catering services for food arrangement. Leela too agrees with Anupamaa. Rakhi tells the Shahs that her guests can’t come to their community hall for engagement as they belong to a high standard family. She suggests the same club as the venue and taunts Vanraj for being there with Kavya.

Vanraj feels uncomfortable as Rakhi takes Kavya’s name. Kinjal is excited about the engagement venue. Rakhi tells the Shahs about the costing of the club which shocks them for being so expensive. Rakhi tells the Shahs that she has already booked the club for the engagement as she is very excited.

Leela tells Rakhi that they aren’t ready to go to the club for engagement as they were not being informed. Rakhi asks Vanraj not to worry as she will handle the costing of the engagement and will also send cars to pick up them. The Shahs are disappointed and shocked.

Vanraj disagrees with Rakhi and tells her that they should not arrange the engagement in the club. He suggests Rakhi that they should not spend huge money on engagement and do it in a simple way. He asks Kinjal about her wishes regarding the engagement venue.

 Kinjal tells Vanraj that for her engagement matters the most and not the venue. Pramod asks Rakhi not to worry as he will cancel the booking of the club. Anupamaa assures Rakhi that they will not let her guests feel disappointed. Rakhi’s plan fails as she thought of ruining Kinjal and Paritosh’s engagement by showing her expensive lifestyle to the Shahs.

Everyone congratulates each other. Anupamaa adores Paritosh and Kinjal. Rakhi decides to ruin the wedding if not the engagement. Anupamaa asks Paritosh and Kinjal to take the blessings of the elders. Samar decides to share the good news of Paritosh’s engagement with Nandini. But then he realizes that he should not think about Nandini too much.

Rakhi and Pramod prepare to leave. Kinjal decides to stay with the Shahs for a while. While leaving, Rakhi tells Anupamaa that she expects the Shahs to look after her daughter’s happiness. Anupamaa assures her and tells her that Kinjal is just like her daughter. Rakhi shows Anupamaa her diamond ring and tells her that Kinjal wants this ring and she wants to gift it to her daughter as her engagement ring.

Anupamaa tells her that the engagement ring for the girls comes from the boy's side of the family. Rakhi asks Anupamaa if she can buy the ring for Kinjal and tells her the cost of the ring which shocks Anupamaa. Nandini eats golgappa and Samar comes to share the news with her. 



After listening to Paritosh’s engagement, Nandini and Samar hug each other in excitement. Nandini gives a golgappa treat to Samar. Anupamaa comes lost to the kitchen after Rakhi and Pramod leave.

 Jhilmil appreciates Anupamaa for making things alright with Kinjal’s family. Anupamaa is worried about her family and feels afraid.

 Leela tells Anupamaa that it’s too much to spend on an engagement ring that Rakhi has suggested. Vanraj thinks Leela to be right. Paritosh tells Anupamaa that Kinjal is sacrificing a lot for him but he’s unable to provide her any happiness.
