Kasauti Zindagi Kay 5th August 2020 Episode Written Update " Prerna is Not Happy with Bajaj's Decision ".

The episode starts at Prerna's house. When Ronit goes to put the engagement ring on Shivani, Mohini asks them to wait.

 Everyone looks at Mohini and she asks Veena how she is letting this happen even after being the elder person. Mohini says that Ronit is like her son and even though Basu's are Bengali and others are Brahmins they have to follow the rituals. She says that it is ritual to give gifts to both sides and Komolika has already gifted a necklace to Shivani.

Mohini says they should also gift Ronit and she tries to let Veena down telling that even if she is middle class asks her to give according to the status of her son in law. Moloy gets angry and Mohini asks her not to give a packet of laddoo but to give something valuable like their love. Veena tells that she also thought the same thing but she didn't do as no one said anything.

 Mohini tells that the rituals will be for some reason and asks pandit to make the bride's family. Kukki says that she only told that there is no difference between boy or girl and Komolika interfere telling that now there is no difference but mothers-in-law thinks according to their old time. Komolika tells that she is happy even if Ronit brings Shivani home in one saree.

 Mohini says Komolika that even though she is allowed to make decisions at home she can't compromise in things that affect their pride. Moloy tries to stop Mohini and she asks him not to create any drama. Mohini tells that in their family every marriage was done with this ritual as they were the bride's side and tells Veena that the love between them gets better with the value of the gift.

Pandit says that Mohini is right but now only the people who believe in this ritual complete them. Moloy thinks about what happened to Mohini and thinks why she is stubborn about performing the adhan pradhan ritual.

Shivani asks Ronit what is all this and he says that he doesn't believe in these rituals and says that he will break all his ties with family if she tells him to do so. Shivani says that they both love each other but he can't give up on his family for her.

Bajaj tells that they are against this ritual but as the issue is raised Ronit will receive a valuable gift from the Sharma family. Mohini tells that the gift should be prestigious as well as strong for the longevity of their relationship. Bajaj how will it be to gift CEO position of Bajaj city for Ronit as it is long-lasting and says that they wanted a trustable person.

He goes telling them to excuse him and Mohini smiles at Komolika. Flashback is shown where Komolika asks Mohini to demand a gift from Veena and asks her not to let them feel that they are threatening them or asking for dowry.  

Komolika says that Sharma will be in tension and she is sure that Bajaj will offer something big to Ronit to keep Prerna out of stress. Komolika says Mohini that if Bajaj lets Ronit be a part of his business or Bajaj city then her planning is on the right track.

 She says that Ronit will slowly destroy their business and Mohini gets impressed by the plan but doubts whether Bajaj will make him a part of his business. Komolika says that he never gifts anything which he doesn't have a profit as he is a true businessman. She is sure that Ronit will get a position with money buy will have to work hard for getting them.

 Komolika says that Bajaj doesn't know that they don't need their money but his destruction and the flashback ends. Nivedita tells Rakhi that this is surely Komolika's plan to make Ronit a part of Bajaj city but thinks what happened to Bajaj to take things seriously.

Nivedita tells that Bajaj doesn't know that he is giving space for a parasite but changes the topic when Rakhi asks her. Kukki sits telling whether they are family or drama company while Kaushik comes telling the bride's side should not tell bad about the groom's side. He says that this all weird but this often happens in the name of rituals and tells that Bajaj should have given a small gift instead of this big announcement.

Kukki says that Mohini needed a long-lasting gift and seeing him lying on the couch she tells that he irritates her a lot. They both get into word fight and Kukki goes after calling him cheaper. Bajaj goes to the room to take documents and Prerna comes there asking what he did down. Prerna says to him that Ronit doesn't deserve to be a CEO and says that he could have gifted them anything else to shut their mouths.

Bajaj says that he is doing after thinking and she says that he didn't ask her even after she worked hard on this project that too for Komolika's brother. Prerna tells that she will be destroyed when Ronit tells their moves to his sister and he says everything that he did was for her.

Bajaj tells that he heard Ronit telling Shivani that he can do anything even leaving everyone for her and says that he trying to get her trust. He says that if they create any problem now Shivani wi distance from them and asks her to let him do the job of finding the truth. Bajaj tells that Mohini is just the way but this was planned by Komolika and says that she doesn't know he starts to think from where her thoughts are stopped.

He says that giving CEO position is not making him a real CEO as they can snatch the time anytime but he won't be able to leave them. Bajaj says that Ronit won't be able to cheat Shivani when he is in front of them. He says he will do this for Shivani but he thought that Prerna will trust his decisions and tells that he misunderstood her.

Prerna feels sorry for being rude to him and thinks of how to apologize. Moloy tells his daughters that he is fed up of Mohini's activities and Komolika says that following rituals is not a bad thing. Rakhi tells that there was no need for them to make an issue on adhaan pradhan as they could've gifted them anything and Komolika gets rude on her.

Komolika takes Mohini with her and asks Nivedita to make her sister understand. Kajal says the Sharma family that Bajaj is a great man to do this much for his sister in law and Veena says that Bajaj is no wrong even though they thought about him bad. Shekhar tells that Bajaj is different for Prerna as he has the same old image in the business world that he takes over people's business and companies.

Mahesh says that Anurag is having a good image in the business world but he was the wrong person for his sister. Veena tells that no one can say who is wrong or right but for Prerna, he is a God as she is alive today because of Bajaj. Veena says that people's nature can never change as even after 8 years Mohini doesn't leave a chance to show her down and Suman calms her.

 Kaushik comes to Moloy telling that Mohini would've told everything as Komolika said as anything in their house happens only with her permission. Komolika praises her for doing the job and Mohini thanks her for supporting as no one in her family is with her. Mohini says that they might be hating her but Komolika says that she is her whole family and when she starts loving her everyone will start loving her.

Bajaj gives Ronit the documents of the Bajaj city project and asks him to be their CEO after going through the files. Komolika thinks that Anurag shouldn't be here as his face would have gone down seeing this and is happy that her plan is going smoothly.
