Anupamaa 28th August 2020 Episode Written Update " Sanjay Catches Vanraj-Kavya and Warns Vanraj ".

The episode begins with Anupamaa praying to Kanha ji. She prays to God for her children’s happiness and well being.

 In the morning, Paritosh wishes Vanraj and asks him if they can do boxing together. Vanraj ignores him and tells him that he has to go to the office for a meeting. Anupamaa consoles Paritosh, who’s upset with his father’s ignorance and asks him to keep trying to win Vanraj’s heart again. Vanraj and Kavya go out on a date together in a restaurant.

Kavya is glad that Vanraj’s smile is back with Paritosh coming back to the house. Vanraj appreciates Anupamaa’s efforts in bringing his son back to him. Kavya feels insecure and jealous as Vanraj keeps appreciating Anupamaa. Vanraj clarifies her that Anupamaa is just in his house and expresses to Kavya how she resides in his heart. Both of them share their love. Meanwhile, Kavya and Vanraj are shocked to see Sanjay beside their table.

 Sanjay notices Vanraj holding Kavya’s hand. As he gets up, his client arrives and he continues his meeting with his client. Vanraj asks Kavya to relax as Sanjay isn’t someone who creates trouble in the family, rather he tries to maintain peace. Kavya is worried. Vanraj asks her to calm down as Anupamaa trusts him more than the almighty and promises to handle the situation in the house if anything goes wrong.

 Sanjay too finishes his meeting. Both Vanraj and Sanjay face each other. Sanjay tells Vanraj that he has never thought of meeting him in such a situation. Leela’s brother asks Leela to relax as Anupamaa will handle Kinjal’s mother and fix the Paritosh’s marriage with Kinjal. Leela expresses her wish to bring a girl of her choice for Paritosh’s marriage but her wish is in vain as Paritosh has already fallen for Kinjal.

Sanjay comes out of the restaurant and recalls Vanraj’s gesture with Kavya. He calls Anupamaa. Vanraj tries to call Sanjay and then Anupamaa but gets their phone busy. Anupamaa asks Sanjay his reason to call. Sanjay hesitates to speak to her.

Samar is glad that Paritosh’s phone is fully repaired. While looking at the phone, he gets hit by Nandini’s cycle. Both of them start arguing with each other. Samar asks her why he didn’t shift to the rented house. 

Nandini teases him and asks if he’s missing her. She tells him that she will come to the rented house to ruin his happiness. She leaves with her cycle. Vanraj comes home and asks Anupamaa to bring water for him. Anupamaa tells him about Sanjay’s call. Sanjay, on the other hand, feels guilty for not being able to be a good brother to Anupamaa.

Anupamaa tells Vanraj that Sanjay went to a cafe and as she was continuing, Vanraj interrupts her. He tells her not to take Sanjay’s words seriously. Anupamaa tells him that Sanjay has told her everything in detail.

Sanjay curses himself but knows that whatever he has done, he did for his sister, Anupamaa. Anupamaa tells Vanraj that Sanjay told her about a food festival in the cafe. Vanraj gets relieved knowing that Sanjay didn’t tell Anupamaa about his affair with Kavya. Sanjay curses himself for lying to Anupamaa as he knows that she trusts Vanraj more than God. He decides to talk to Vanraj about his affair with Kavya. While Leela and her brother were coming back from the temple, they notice Pakhi stepping down from a boy’s bike.

Pakhi’s gesture towards the boy irritates Leela. Leela goes to talk to the boy. She taunts the boy, Bobby for his attire. Bobby leaves listening to Leela’s taunts. Leela scolds Pakhi for talking to Bobby outside the house and asks Anupamaa to look after her daughter. Pakhi asks Leela not to exaggerate as Bobby is just a friend. She tells Anupamaa that Leela has insulted Bobby and she should learn how to behave.

Anupamaa gets angry at Pakhi for her behavior towards Leela and asks her to apologize to her grandma. Pakhi apologizes to Leela and goes to her room. Leela tells Vanraj about Pakhi’s gesture towards Bobby. Vanraj gets angry at Pakhi and calls her in the living room. Pakhi misunderstands her mother and thinks that Anupamaa has told Vanraj about the cigarette box.

 Sanjay comes to Shah's house. Vanraj tells him that he is misunderstanding the situation. Anupamaa realizes that Sanjay is frustrated. Sanjay tells Vanraj not to ruin Anupamaa’s family and happiness.
