Kasauti Zindagi Kay 20th August 2019 Episode Written Update " Mr. Bajaj is injured Blame on Veena ".
The episode begins in the Basu house where Cookie’s birthday is celebrated. Mausi asks someone to bring the cake.
Veena goes to follow the order. Prerna feels upset to see her mother doing work. Bajaj tries to console her.
Veena brings the cake for the celebration. Mausi suggests Bajaj and Prerna cut the cake together with Cookie. Tanvi gets irritated with Sarada’s suggestions. Sarada makes her understand that she’s trying to involve everyone in the cake cutting ceremony so that they can execute their plan.

She goes to loosen the rope of the hanging while everyone is busy in the cake cutting ceremony. Mausi loosens the hanging according to her plan. The cookie makes Prerna and Bajaj eat a piece of cake. Mausi goes downstairs as Bajaj looks for her. Prerna sends Cookie to give the cake to Veena. Veena makes her eat first.
Mausi goes to Veena and insults her for not doing her work properly. She tells Veena that to tighten up the hanging. Veena follows the instruction and goes upstairs. Prerna introduces Veena to be her mother to Mausi. Mausi pretends as if she was unaware of the fact that Veena is Prerna’s mother. Tanvi tells Prerna that Sarada and Veena had an argument as the latter was talking rubbish about Bajaj and her. Mausi asks Prerna to take her to Veena so that she can apologize. Veena finds the hanging to be loosened.
As she touches the rope, the rope on its own gets drifted from the hanging. Though Veena warns Bajaj by shouting his name it was too late for him to take an action to rescue himself. The hanging falls on Bajaj and Bajaj gets injured and gets unconscious. Cookie cries seeing her father injured. The Basus are also shocked to see Bajaj in such a condition.
Prerna calls the staffs of Bajaj’s house and asks them to take him to the hospital. Veena cries and tells Prerna that she didn’t let the hanging fall intentionally.
Prerna assures Veena that she trusts her. She consoles Cookie and asks her not to cry as she will bring back Bajaj very soon. Prerna and Tanvi leave. Sarada blames Veena for trying to hurt Rishabh as she doesn’t like him at all. Mr. Viyaj is upset with Veena though she tries to explain herself. Mohini doesn’t think that Veena can hurt her own son-in-law but wonders why Sarada is accusing Veena. Bajaj is taken to the hospital. The doctor takes Bajaj for the treatment. Tanvi prays for Rishabh’s good health. She whispers to herself saying that she loves Rishabh and wants to marry him.

She asks Cookie not to get afraid and calls the servant to take care of her. As there’s a knock on the Sharma house, Suman opens it and finds Police enquiring about Veena. Police asks Veena to come with them to the police station. Veena understands that it’s due to Bajaj’s injury, she’s being charged by the police.
She agrees to go with the police. The Sharmas don’t understand anything. The police tell them that Veena is arrested for trying to kill Mr. Bajaj. The Sharmas are shocked. Suman, Shekhar, and Shivi go to the police station. Tanvi gets a call from Sarada. Sarada asks her to come home and take rest. Tanvi pretends in front of Prerna that Sarada isn’t well as she is crying for Rishabh’s condition. She leaves and asks Prerna to stay with Rishabh. Sarada starts arguing with Nivi as she comes down from the upstairs. The doctor informs Prerna that Bajaj is out of danger and he will be fine soon. Prerna goes to meet Bajaj who’s unconscious.

Mohini tells Nivi that Sarada should talk to them with respect. Sarada thinks of a plan to deal with Prerna after she will come to know about Veena’s arrest. Prerna comes to know from the Police station that Bajaj’s aunt has filed a complaint against Veena. Mohini shows Sarada a photograph where Sarada loosening up the hanging was captured.
