Kairav is upset because his father left for work without even meeting him. He calls his father a bad boy.

Naira doesn't want Kairav to think anything bad about his father. She calls Kartik, but his number is unreachable.

She takes Kairav to his school and tries to cheer him up, but fails. Meanwhile, Kartik finishes the formalities with the exhibition organizers. The organizer asks him to stay for a day more for some other formalities. Kartik agrees happily. He thinks all this is happening because of his connection with Kairav.

 Naira is trying to cheer up Kairav in different ways, but can't make him smile. He leaves as the school bell rings. Naira returns home and sees Liza discussing the loss in the exhibition with her boyfriend. She cuts the call to talk to Naira. She asks her if she met the fake father. Naira tells her that she couldn't. Liza speaks about the lost in the exhibition.

Recalling Kairav's sad face Naira says that she has faced a huge loss and feels afraid whether it will ever be recovered or not. Liza gets confused and asks if she is talking about the loss at the exhibition or the loss of life. Naira replies that she can think any, it doesn't matter.

Suhasini and Vedika reach home. Vansh's rushes towards them to tell them how much he missed them. Kartik calls Vedika and tells her about the remaining work. Vedika suggests Kartik meet Kairav in the meantime. Kartik tells her that he doesn't want to trouble Kairav or his mother. He wants to clear his mother's misunderstanding and he texted her, but she didn't reply.

Vedika points out that they can be in any problem and asks Kartik to meet them once. Suhasini likes to see Vedika talking to Kartik. She tells Suwarna how much she likes her friendship. Suwarna suggests her to not make such haste, otherwise, Vedika will have to suffer. But, Suhasini thinks that they already waited for many years and Kartik should get married now. Naira reaches Kairav's school to pick up him with a gift to make him happy.

 Kairav comes out after the school gets over. Before Naira may meet him, Kartik rushes towards him. Naira gets surprised to see Kartik there and she hides. 



Kairav feels happy to see his father back and apologizes for being upset when he couldn't find him at the hotel. Kartik gets to know that he visited the hotel with his mother to meet him. Kairav tells Kartik that his mother comes to pick up him. Kartik decides to wait there for his mother. Naira feels delighted to see Kairav happy with Kartik.

Kairav and Kartik play together and wait for his mother. When she doesn't appear, Kartik decides to call her. Naira covers her mouth with a handkerchief to change her voice. Kartik feels something as Kairav's mother answers the call.

Naira speaks in a changed voice and accent. He tells her for how long he and Kairav are waiting for her. Naira replies that she got stuck and requests Kartik to drop Kairav home. Kartik doesn't like her careless attitude and expresses his concern for the child to his mother. Naira assures him that this will never happen again.

She asks him to give the phone to the guard. She talks to the guard and asks him to send Kairav with this man. Kartik takes Kairav home. Naira yearns to meet him but feels afraid that he will hate her after meeting her. She can bear Kartik hating herself, but can't see him hating Kairav because of her. Kairav reaches home and asks Liza about his mother.

Liza gets surprised to see that Kartik came there to drop Kairav. Kartik complains about the irresponsible behavior of Kairav's mother and expresses his concern after being attached to the child. Liza asks him not to judge a single mother. Kartik says sorry for that and expresses his doubt that Kairav's mother is avoiding him deliberately or she has an ego issue.

 Liza clears his doubt that Kairav's mother is thankful to him for bringing her son home and she is not egoistic. Kartik asks Liza to tell Kairav's mother to tell the truth to Kairav as he can't live the lie anymore. He can't hurt this child. He will leave and this time he will not come back again. Naira is secretly listening to their conversation.

She wants to tell him the truth, but can't. Kairav changes his clothes and comes back. Kartik tells him that he has to leave for work. Kairav doesn't want him to leave. Liza assures Kairav that he will come back to meet him. Kartik has to leave with a heavy heart.
