Naira is about to leave for the meeting, but she has to confront Suhasini before that. Suhasini criticizes Naira that she is concerned only for work even after all that happened during Gayatri's introductory ceremony.

Naira tells her that she can't do anything for has happened. She is not needed at the place now and she thinks she should be where she is needed. Suhasini says that if she would've known such incident is going to happen, she would've postponed the ceremony.

 Naira replies that she should've discussed this with them earlier so they could be ready for this. But she planned the ceremony so suddenly that they couldn't plan anything. Still, she fulfilled her all responsibilities and now she wants to fulfill her responsibilities at work as well. She knows Suhasini doesn't like her work, but she likes it a lot and she wants to handle the responsibility of both house and office with equal diligence.

At the venue, Kartik rings the fire alarm to distract the meeting and get some more time for Naira. But still, Naira is late. When Naira arrives at the venue, both Scindias and Jadejas have left after postponing the meeting to the next day. Naira tries to talk to Mihir, but he ignores her and leaves. Naira decides to talk to visit him at his office. Kartik hugs Naira and tries to calm her down. Naira visits Mihir at his office. She apologizes for her mistake.

She gives no excuse or explanation for the same. She is ready to be scolded or fired for the mistake. She requests Mihir to not scold Me, Shukla because he tried his best to contact to her and got worried because of her. Mihir agrees to give a second chance to Naira just because of her honesty. He wants Naira to make full use of the opportunity. He gives her the files of requirements of the family regarding the jewelry and asks her to prepare two options for every piece by the night as he has to mail the designs till the next morning. Naira agrees to brave the consequences of her mistake. Mihir takes her mobile as he wants her not to get distracted and focus on work and work only. Before giving her mobile to him, she messages Kartik- " A lot of work. I'll be late. Don't worry. I'll call once I finish." She begins her work.

As it has been too late, Kartik arrives at Mihir's office with dinner for Naira. But, he gets angry to see the guards sleeping and Naira working alone in the office. He gets mad over Mihir for no concern about Naira's security and Mihir doesn't want to give any explanation. This leads to a heated argument between them. Kartik declares that he will not let his wife work at a place where she isn't valued. He goes to Naira and asks her to come home with him.

Naira gets shocked to see him there. Kartik speaks nothing and takes her with him. Before Naira may leave, Mihir asks her to take her designs as he doesn't want her to blame him for copying her designs. Naira is shocked to know Kartik's decision that she will not work with him. On the way back to home, Kartik expresses his concern to Naira. Naira knows that he is protective of her, but she tries to explain to him that an office is a safe place with alarms and cameras everywhere.

 She asks Kartik how would have felt if someone barged into his office and talked to him in this way. Gayatri apologizes to Suhasini for what happened at the ceremony, but Suhasini blames Naira for the incident.

The next morning, Mihir watches the designs Naira prepared. The amazing designs bind him. He receives a call from Mitali and tells her about how Naira and her endless personal problems. Later, he decides to hire any new intern. He knows that Naira is really talented, but he can't do anything with her unprofessionalism. At Goenka villa, the family members notice some stress between Kartik and Naira.

 They get shocked when Naira tells them that Naira left the job. Naira doesn't tell them the actual reason. Nobody wants her to lose the huge opportunity, but she says she the work didn't suit her. Suhasini is satisfied by Naira's decision and she asks her to work for their company. Naira hides her dejection from everyone but bursts into tears when she's alone in the kitchen.
