Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode 14th May 2019 Written Update "Naira Gets an Award Kartik gets Heartbroken."

Kartik and Naira are enjoying the function with excitement. Suhasini and others get confused when Mihir Kapoor is called on the stage as they don't know he's a partner in the magazine.

 Manish thinks that he's called because he's an ace designer. Suhasini waits for Kartik's name being called on the stage. The host calls for the person who has established his unique identity in a very short time. Kartik expects his name and gets up from the chair, but he gets shocked when Naira's name is calling instead of his. Whole Goenka family is shocked and Naira is left dumbstruck.

 Kartik gets back to his seat. The cover of the magazine with Naira's picture is launched. Naira wants to talk to Kartik, but she can't get the opportunity. Naira doesn't want to leave Kartik, but Mihir calls her on the stage. Manish and others realise that they had a sort of misunderstanding. Except for Suhasini, all are happy for Naira.

Naira joins Mihir on the stage. While the host it praising Naira and introducing her to everyone, Naira talks to Mihir and asks him wasn't the honour for Kartik. Mihir tells her that they did the feature especially for her. He tells her that the magazine belongs to their company, so they will obviously promote their own brand. She is receiving the honour because she is working for their brand and she deserves. Moreover, Kartik is a businessman, not a designer so why would they promote him? Naira realises that they had a huge misunderstanding.

 She is called to the podium to speak a few words. Naira remembers how excited she and Kartik were for his speech. Her eyes get filled with tears and the first word that come out of her tongue is "Kartik". Further, she says actually, Kartik deserves this honour. He's the one who held her and guided her. She praises Kartik as a great husband, friend and partner.

 While Mihir expected Naira to speak a few words about their brand, she keeps thanking Kartik and says she's receiving the honour, but he is the reason behind it. She requests Kartik to join her on the stage as she can't receive the honour without him. Naira holds his hand tight as he comes on the stage. Kartik tries to act as he is not hurt, but normal. Naira receives the honour with Kartik. Mihir calls Naira to sign the first copy of the magazine.

 She doesn't want to leave Kartik's hand and move ahead. She holds him tight, but Kartik frees his hand from hers to let her go. She signs the copy and tries to talk to Kartik, but can't get the opportunity. The volunteer requests Kartik to go back to his seat. Naira gestures him to stay but he goes back with a smile on his face to hide the shock in his mind. After signing the copy Naira comes down, but she is crowded by the camera and reporters.

 She looks at Kartik and runs into his arms as he gestures her to come to him. She apologizes to Kartik as she feels that all this happened because of her. Kartik tells her that she doesn't need to apologise because all of them had a similar misunderstanding. Akhilesh says that all of them assumed the award for Naira but nobody noticed they award is for a designer, not a businessman. Naira wanted Kartik to receive the award for his hard work and experience.

He tells her that she got the award because she deserves it and the family is much happy for her. Naira looks at Suhasini's upset face. A volunteer informs Naira Thai Mihir is calling her. Naira doesn't want to go, but Manish asks her to go after all he is her boss. Naira has to go. Kartik goes to get some juice for himself where he listens to people's comments about Naira's speech.

They think that Naira gave the whole credit to her husband because she didn't want to hurt her ego. And also she will be successful now because she is working with Mihir otherwise she could never be successful with her husband. Their comments start affecting Kartik's mind.

 Suhasini thinks that Kartik deserved the honour and he should have got it. While Naira is stuck among Mihir's guests at the party, she receives a text from Kartik that she might take time so they are leaving. They left a car and driver for her.
