Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode 8th April 2019 Written Update " Naira-Kartik Hides Gayu's Pregnancy From Dadi ."

 Kartik, Naira come downstairs with Gayatri and declare Gayatri's decision. They tell everyone that Gayatri is ready to marry Samarth. Naira reminds Gayatri that nobody will pressurize her and she can do as she likes. Gayatri tells her that this is her final decision.

The whole family is happy after listening to her decision but Suhasini suspects some foul play as Gayatri agreed to marry Samarth so soon. She hadn't come over the grief of Vivaan's death and she agreed to be Samarth's bride. Surekha thinks that may be Rama have pressurized Gayatri, that's why she agreed so soon. Naira listens to them talking and goes to Kartik. She tells him about Suhasini's suspicion. Naira thinks they should tell the truth to Suhasini.

Kartik tells her that Samarth already knows the reality, then why do they need to tell everyone? Naira tells him that they are family and also the truth can't be hidden for long. Rama opposes Naira's decision of telling the truth to Suhasini. She tells her that she can't complicate Gayatri's life more. She tells them that only Samarth needs to know about Gayatri's pregnancy and he knows that and he still wants to marry Gayatri. Does Suhasini listen to them talking and asks them what truth they are hiding from her?

Naira was about to tell her the truth, but Rama quickly makes an excuse that they were talking about the wedding dates. She tells Suhasini she wants the marriage to be done as soon as possible and has some dates in her mind. Suhasini tells her that she can't take the decision so soon, she'll think about it at home.

At Goenka house, Puru Mama is playing carrom with Luv-Kush. Luv-Kush tells him that Naira is the real champion in carrom. She wins every time without any cheating, in fact, she hates cheating. Puru Mama asks them more about Naira. Goenkas return home. Manish tells Puru that Gayatri agreed to marry Samarth.

Kartik tells them that they'll arrange a simple ceremony for Samarth and Gayatri and they should get married as soon as possible as Rama's visa is about to expire. Suhasini doesn't agree to this and tells them that she has some plans and responsibilities regarding Samarth's wedding and she can't do this in so much hurry. Samarth tells Suhasini that he really wants a simple ceremony.

 Suhasini expresses her doubt that they are hiding something from her. She tells them that the marriage will be done properly, with all rituals.

Rama shows the wedding date she planned for Gayatri and Samarth's wedding. Devyani notices that these dates are so close. She suggests Rama give Gayatri some time.  Naira tells Kartik about her worry of Suhasini's reaction when she'll know the truth. Kartik asks her to stop worrying. Naira plans a long drive to the lake and has ice cream with Kartik.

They are about to leave, but Puru Mama comes there with Luv-Kush and tells them that with Luv-Kush he had planned to visit the lake and have ice cream. He asks Kartik and Naira to join them. Kartik receives a call and tells them that he can't come because he has some urgent work. Puru Mama asks Naira to come with them. But Naira makes an excuse that they can't go to have ice cream with them as Luv-Kush are not fine.

 Naira thinks she should tell Kartik about her discomfort. But, she changes her mind when Puru Mama hurts himself while saving Kartik from falling. On the other hand, Suhasini asks Surekha to keep an eye over Gayatri and others as she strongly feels that they are hiding something from her.

The next day, the Goenkas arrive at Singhania house for the ritual of chunari. Suhasini sends Surekha to keep an eye over Naira and Gayatri. Rama asks Gayatri to apply some ice over her swollen face, as ladies can get suspicious to see her face swollen. But Gayatri doesn't want to do so. Naira tells Gayatri that they can postpone the function and also cancel the wedding if she's not fine with it. But Gayatri tells Naira that she's fine. Naira asks Gayatri if she should appoint a gynac for her.

 Surekha comes there with an intention to listen to their conversation secretly but fails as Naira and others listen to her sneeze. She makes an excuse that she came there to call Naira. Later, the families complete the ritual of Chunari and Shagun. Rama asks Suhasini if she thought about the wedding. Suhasini announces that the marriage will be held with pomp.
