Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode 22nd March 2019 Written Update " Kartik Cancels Marriage Naira Cries ."

The family gets worried about Kartik. As the auspicious time is short for the day, Suhasini hands over the turmeric to Kirti for Naira.

She keeps some for Kartik and sends the rest for Naira so that she can apply Heena within the auspicious time. As Kirti reaches the door to leave, Surekha suggests to Suhasini that she should have asked Kirti to not to tell the Singhanias about Kartik, otherwise they will get worried. But Kirti has left.

All are confused where Kartik had gone so early morning. Naira is calling Kartik but his number is unavailable. She thinks that Kartik might be planning a surprise for her. Kirti returns home with the turmeric. Naira asks Kirti if she met Kartik? Kirti tells her that she couldn't talk to him.

She went in a hurry and returned with turmeric and didn't start there for long. Naira goes to get ready for the ritual. Meanwhile, Singhanias also come to know that Kartik is missing.

Goenkas arrive at Singhania house but gets worried to know that Kartik is not even there. Naksh gets upset from Kartik for being so irresponsible. Manish asks him to calm down as they think he must have gone for some work.

Naira gets ready and reaches downstairs. All get confused when she just ignores them and moves ahead. Devyani tries to talk to her but she gives no response. Suddenly, Naira starts ruining the decorations. Everyone gets astonished to see her pulling out all the decorations.

The try to stop her but Naira is just out of control. Naksh and Rishabh somehow handle Naira and ask her why is she doing all this. Naira bursts into tears. Naksh requests her to speak. Naira goes into flashback. While she was getting ready for the ceremony, Kartik knocks her window.

 He looked upset even then. Naira tries to cheer him up but he remains silent. Kartik tells Naira that he wants to talk something important to her. Naira takes his seriousness as a joke and expects a surprise from him. But, then Kartik holds her tight to tell her that he's there to talk something serious, and speaks in one breath- ' I Love You Naira. I love you a lot but can't marry you.'  His words leave Naira frozen. Naira pleads him to tell her the reason but Kartik tells ends the discussion saying he can't explain this to her. Everyone gets shocked when Naira tells this to Naksh. Naira cries and asks them to take off the decorations because he doesn't want to marry her. She rushes to her room.

Kirti remembers what she told Kartik. Naksh gets enraged at Kartik's behavior. Manish tries to calm him down but nobody could give him a logical explanation for Kartik's change. He prepares to punish Kartik for hurting Naira once again. Before Naksh may get into the car, Kirti rushes to stop him.

 Naksh gets shocked when Kirti says this time it is her fault. Meanwhile, Kartik is disappointed as Naira must be hating him after all this. He entered his life so that nobody may hurt her but he himself hurt her. Naira dances in her room to vent her frustration. Kirti tells Naksh that she was blaming Kartik and Naira for her sorrows. She ruined their lives for her insecurities.

 Kirti cries and apologises to Naksh. Naksh gets confused. He requests Kirti to explain to him clearly. Kirti tells Naksh whatever happened between her and Kartik.

Kartik returns home to face the upset faces. He's ready to listen to whatever they want to say. But, as everybody remains silent he feels he hurt them a lot and they are not ready to even talk to him. He says sorry with joined hands and as he's about to turn to his room Naksh's voice saying- 'No Kartik, I am sorry' stops him. He gets confused to see Naksh and Kirti there.

Naksh apologizes to Kartik. He tells him that he always saw what he did but never understood why. But, now Naksh has understood that whatever Kartik did, it was for the well being of  Naira and both the families.

 The whole family is now with Kartik. He goes with Kirti and Naksh to persuade Naira. Meanwhile, Rishabh encourages Naira to vent her frustration by sharing her feelings with him. Naira tells Rishabh that she hates Kartik. And she will never forgive him for breaking her heart.
