The Mehandi ceremony begins. Kartik writes 'KAIRA' on Naira's palm with Heena.

 Naira asks him what does this mean? Kartik tells her that Mishti gave them this name. Naira likes the name but thinks that how Mishti finds time to decide the name even while leaving. She doesn't remember Mishti actually named them Kaira not now, but many years ago.

She writes the same on Kartik's palm. The whole family dances and celebrates together. Amidst the celebration, Naira takes Krish from Kirti and continues the enjoyment with him. Bhabhimaa and Devyani notice that Naira still loves Krish like a mother.

They think what will they do if Naira insists that she doesn't want to get married because of Krish. Naksh replies that then they will give Krish to her. Kirti gets shocked at Naksh's reply. Further Naksh says that if kartik did wrong to Naira, they also wronged her.

He separated Krish from Naira just because of them. Naira could refuse but with a heavy heart, she gave Krish to them. He's ready to do the same for Naira. Kirti bursts into tears at Naksh's decision and rushes upstairs. Suhasini takes Krish from Naira and asks her to have Heena on her another palm too. Kirti cries her misery in front of Lord Krishna's idol.

She says that she can't give her son to Naira. Naira gave Krish to her because he is her son. This time, she won't let anyone else take the decision of her life. She is ready to fulfill all expectations of being a daughter, daughter-in-law, and sister but can't let anyone take the decision of her life as being a mother.

Kartik feels hungry and brings some kachori to eat. Naira also feels hungry but can't eat because of Heena on her hands. Kartik knows that she's hungry so, she feeds kachori to her with his hands. Kirti returns downstairs and sees Suhasini and others pampering Krish.

Kartik gets up to bring some chutney to eat with kachori. Kirti stops him on the way and asks him to come with him for one minute. Kartik gets worried to see the seriousness in her tone. Kirti takes Kartik to her room to talk to him. Naira waits for Kartik, but as he gets late she gets up to look after him.

On the way she sees a picture lying on the floor, she picks it but as she was about to see turn the photo, Luv-Kush comes to her and shouts loud. She gets surprised and the photograph slips from her hands. One of them distracts Naira and the other hides the photo under the table.

 Luv-Kush asks her to go and enjoy her Heena ceremony. Luv-Kush realizes that they must be careful as Naira may remember anything on her own but they should not remind her of anything.

Kartik asks Kirti what happened? Kirti gathers the courage to share her problem with Kartik. Kirti asks Kartik to promise that he'll not take otherwise what she is going to say. Kartik makes the promise. Kirti tells Kartik that whatever happened in his and Naira's life, affected her the most. She reminds Kartik whenever she suffered because of the problems in his and Naira's life.

 Kirti tells Kartik that she always supported him and his love and also wants to do the same this time but not at the cost of her family life, and never at the cost of her child. She asks Kartik if she deserved whatever she went through. Kartik is frozen to listen Kirti. She tells Kartik that she is thankful to Naira that she returned her baby and will remain so, but she can't give her baby in return for that. Naira comes upstairs, looking for Kartik.

Kirti bursts into tears while sharing her miseries with Kartik. She tells Kartik that she listened Naksh saying that if Naira will fall sick because of leaving Krish, he'll give Krish to Naira. While Kirti is questioning Kartik why should she and her child suffer because of Naira, Kartik notices Naira at door. Fortunately, Naira didn't listen to what they were talking.

She gets worried to see Kirti crying. Kirti makes an excuse that she got emotional as she will leave them after her marriage. Naira assures Kirti that she will keep visiting to meet her, Krish and others.

 Kirti leaves. Naira asks Kartik what else was Kirti saying. Kartik says that she was asking him to take care of you. Naira notices Kartik's upset face but thinks that he also got emotional at what Kirti said. She takes Kartik downstairs and makes a romantic declaration in front of the guests that since she saw Kartik for the first time, her heart realized that he's the one she was looking for. He is the one with whom she feels the safest.
